GRAPPA
Grappa is a uniquely Italian drink. Similar to France’s brandies and cognacs, Grappa is a distilled beverage, distilled from grapes instead of grain. Today’s Grappa is 40-45% alcohol. After distillation, Grappa is usually stored in glass bottles for about 6 months. The flavor profile of Grappa depends on the grape varietal used. Generally, Grappa is potent and dry. Listed are the varieties we stock but frequently we have several others from which to choose.
